1. This project focuses on the social life of young people, for the propagation of the popgenre since they focus on youth experiences and feel identified with them.

2. we learn through the internet, and pop stations in Medellin, such as fantastic and radiotime which sponsor local singers.

3. Develop and deepen the genre, analyzing his lyrics, which leave us lessons, messages and thoughts. 

pop history

The music pop is one of the kinds musically mainly extended between the youths that please the music in the whole world.

Pop mends us to the origins of the music we must carry ourselves  back to the beginning itself of the music of rock in the year 1955.

The appearance in the year  1962 of the British group the beatles pop marks another return of evolutionary not for the rock the beatles generate the appearance  of a buna quantity of groups inspired by them that genetated the considerable blurred one pop, both in great Britain and in the united states of America.

Objectives.

Main Objectives:

Knowing the history of pop in Medellin and understand their relationship with the national music scene, taking into account the main exponents and the socio-historical context of each era.

Specific Objectives:

-Increase and enhance knowledge about pop culture in medellin.
-Develop and deepen the genre, analyzing his lyrics, which leave us lessons, messages and thoughts. 

-E identify the main aspects of the music industry and media that influence pop music in the city of Medellin.

Pop artists in Medellin

 Artist: Juanes, Pasabordo, Piso 21, Camilo, Sara Tunes, Yina Gallego, Lucas Rave.
  
-Juanes: Participated in the concert for peace in Comuna 13, san javier. One of the most violent neighborhoods in Medellin, is the second city of Colombia where sitting in front of dead among the gangs left some 1300 dead.

-Pasabordo: They were at the concert  ¨Nuestra Tierra¨ 2008 that was conducted by the station La Mega.
Participated in the concert of the founding ¨Amor Por Medellin¨ July 11, 2009.

-Piso 21: Participated in the Feria De Las  Flores 2010, there have launched a successful call to commemorate in date Feria En Mi Casa.

-Camilo: Participated on July 20, 2009 at the concert in Parque Simon Bolivar. Bogota.

-Sara Tunes: Participated in the concert of the founding ¨Amor Por Medellin¨ July 11, 2009. Also participated: Pasabordo, Jorge Uribe, Lucas Arnau.

-Yina Gallego: His latest hits: Tanto Tanto, Ser Feliz, Malo, Regrasa.

-Lucas Rave:  Participated in the concert  ¨Nuestra Tierra¨ 2008 that was conducted by the station La Mega.Tettomania also participated in that took place in the mall the day Plaza Premuim January 22, 2010.
